With the newly opened cable car from Alagna Pianalunga to Passo Salati (3,000m), Alagna makes for a great starting point into the Monterosa ski region. 180 kms of on-piste trails take you down to Gressoney la Trinitie and then up and over to Champoluc.

Given the size of the region, many guests opt to take one of our on-piste guides for the first couple of days to help gain a sense of orientation.

Alagna has a good area near the village for complete beginners and there are a couple of blue slopes on to which one can progress. However the resort is geared more towards the advanced skier (or après-skier!). Do get in touch if you have any queries about this.
