Ski-Monterosa was set up in 2004 by Andrew Evans and Richard Luck-Hille.

During the first six years, Ski Monterosa operated solely in Alagna, Italy. Andy stumbled across Alagna on a trip to the region in the early part of the millennium whilst Richard, a qualified ski/snowboard instructor, was teaching skiing over the way in Champoluc.

Both are experienced skiing enthusiasts and instantly fell in love with Alagna's charm leading to the creation of what is now Ski-Monterosa.

Richard and Andy have established roots in the resorts of Zermatt and Obergurgl respectively, each having spent over a quarter of a century visiting and living in their chosen communities.
